Scholarship Life Cycle

Scholarship Process

  1. Apply and awarded scholarship
  2. Donor funds scholarships
  3. Student Business Services deposits checks and sends recepients to Financial Aid
  4. Financial Aid posts awards within 8 to 12 weeks
  5. Student receives the funds or pays any remaining charges

Process Details

  1. Donor funds scholarship.
  2. Students apply and, if selected, are awarded.
  3. SBS receives funds and sends recipients to the Scholarships Office. The award gets posted within 8 to 12 weeks.
  4. The student receives the funds or scholarship and pays the remaining charges on the student's account.
  5. The student writes a thank you note to the donor and submits the letter to their scholarship program within one month of receiving the award.
