Extramural Funding Opportunities
The Office of Extramural Funding Opportunities (OEFO) Proactively identifies, disseminates and follows up on extramural funding opportunities that target and address specific user needs e.g., institutional initiatives, faculty research interests, and student research and other scholarly support, with special emphasis on "new" funding sources. Additionally, the office plans and implements special events and conferences to strengthen the University’s research and other scholarly and creative endeavors; advocates for the University’s participation in the range of programs of which we are eligible e.g., HSI, AANAPISI, via working with the University's Government Relations staff, professional organizations and associations with a special emphasis on monitoring the University's MSI eligibility as well as plan a minimum of two strategic trips for University representatives to meet with key federal funding agency and/or association representatives.
The office is staffed by a full-time director and a part-time Administrative Assistant and is located in MH 103.
