Registration for Summer 2024 Orientation is available. Please check your CSUF email for more updates.

Welcome to Cal State Fullerton! At Orientation, you’ll learn about everything you’ll need for a successful start at CSUF.

There are two mandatory components to complete before you register for classes at CSUF: Orientation and Academic Advising. At In-Person Orientation, you will complete both your Orientation session and Academic Advising session in one day. If choosing the Hybrid Orientation option, you will complete an online asynchronous Orientation module, and then you are still required complete an Academic Advising & Registration Workshop session.

Note: Until you complete both Orientation and Academic Advising, an Orientation task item and Academic Advising hold will remain on your account and you will be unable to register for classes.

Option 1: In-Person Orientation and Academic Advising

In-Person Orientation is a one-day session that includes a campus tour, presentation from campus partners, opportunities to meet other students, and a resource fair! Your Academic Advising & Registration Workshop will occur on the same day you chose, during the afternoon. At this workshop, you will meet with an Academic Advisor and register for classes. If registering a parent or guest for Parent & Family Orientation, make sure they sign up for the same day as you!

 

Option 2: Hybrid Orientation and Academic Advising

By selecting Hybrid Orientation, you will first complete an online asynchronous online Orientation module that will walk you through CSUF history, campus resources, student life opportunities, and what to expect once you’re on campus. Completion of this online module is due by August 23 - although we recommend you complete the module prior to attending your Academic Advising session. You will receive separate communication in the coming weeks from your college regarding instructions on Academic Advising & Registration Workshop and how to sign up for classes.

 

Registration & Payment

• You will be emailed step-by-step instructions for how to register and pay for Orientation
• The Orientation fee ($100) covers the student’s registration for Orientation and is non-refundable
• The Orientation fee cannot be covered by financial aid
• If the registration or payment pages are struggling to load, make sure your browser’s pop-up blockers are turned off!
