Lebenslauf:
I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Cal State Fullerton. I grew up in Cork, Ireland on a dairy farm, and studied under Juergen Berndt at Cork and London for my doctorate. Then I held fellowships at Brussels, in the group of Joel Fine, and McMaster, working with McKenzie Wang. Mostly I work on Riemannian and Kaehler geometry, with my research mostly focused on Riemannian symmetric spaces and their generalizations. Since coming to CSUF I have also worked extensively doing joint research with undergraduates on a wide array of topics.
