Chloe Eddy received her B.A. in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard University before joining CSUF's Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Programs. Here, she serves as Engagement and Learning specialist, bringing experience in education, identity-related issues, community building, and the arts to advance the office's mission of fostering and exemplifying an equity-minded campus.
Gender Identity and Pronoun Usage
This presentation will break down the distinctions between gender identity, gender expression, sex, sexual attraction, and romantic attraction, as well as define umbrella terms like "Queer" and "Transgender" while exploring some of the identities that may fall under those broad categories. It will further address pronoun usage, types of pronouns, and strategies for honoring pronouns in daily life to promote inclusivity.
