Throughout move out week, it is common for students. to gather their belongings and leave them inside their vehicles in preperation for leaving campus. Thieves are aware that students are moving out and will be out looking for property to steal. Vehicles with visible items such as boxes, bags, etc. are most at risk. Property should be placed in the trunk of the vehicle or in another area where it can be secured and not seen. Thievies especially target unattended electronics (computers, tablets, cell phones, etc.). Other valuables including wallets, purses, and backpacks should also be watched closely. Always lock all doors and windows. Do not assume your vehicle and property are safe because your vehicle is parked in a seured lot or carport area. Students should also be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity or persons immediately to the CSUF Police Depertment, 657-278-2515. Additionally we would like to remind you that all bicycles must be removed from campus druing the summer. All bikes will be tagged by CSUF PD after closing and will be confiscated if found t be abandoned. (If you have been approved to live in housing this summer, please remove the tag.)
