Hey everyone! My name is Maxine O’Loane and I’m excited to be serving as your 2021-2022 President for LMSA-Plus a transfer student from East Los Angeles college (and El Camino College) I’m currently a Psychology major with a minor in Chemistry and will be graduating this Fall. I’m interested in becoming a certified sign language interpreter as well as a psychiatrist so that I can provide “therapy services/mental health services” specifically for those in the deaf community who are constantly faced with language barriers, especially in therapy. I currently volunteer at Kaiser in Downey and a psychiatric hospital. In my free time I enjoy, cooking, watching movies and spending time with my family! I’m still learning a lot about the journey to becoming a physician but I’d be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Can’t wait to meet you all at our meetings and events! Hi there! My name is Martha Ceja, and I am this year's Mesa/ Community Service Outreach Officer for LMSA+. A little bit about me is that I used to attend Cerritos College. In Cerritos, I achieved two Associate Degrees: Natural Science, Social and Behavioral Science; as well as earning my Certificate of Achievement. I am a senior here at California State University Fullerton, and my major is Public Health. What I plan to do in the future is to become a Physician Associate. What I like to do in my spare time is make crafts with my Cricut, paint, go on adventures and spend time with my family. I am very excited about this upcoming year and its events. Hello everyone! My name is Jenny Escalante, and I am a graduate student majoring in Biology. This year I will be serving as the BOS and NSM-ICC Representative. I am very excited to provide funding opportunities for interested pre-meds who strive to create a difference in their community. Feel free to contact me regarding opportunities to go to pre-health conferences to learn about medical school and or admission procedures. In my free time I enjoy getting coffee, hanging out with my friends, or going outdoors. Aside from my fun activities, I also volunteer at CHOC hospital where I enjoy interacting with patients, especially their smiles! Just like the LMSA+ board, I strive to create a well-rounded community of pre-med who strive to defy expectations and create a difference. I cannot wait to see you at our upcoming meeting!

My name is Naman Shah and I am a third year Biochemistry major, hoping to apply to become a physician. I am currently pursuing these goals through working as a Health Scholar at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange, and I shadow a couple physicians. As you may know, I am currently I am currently serving as the Treasurer for LMSA+, but I also involved as Vice President for the Student Health Professions Association (SHPA), Treasurer for the President’s Scholar Student Association, a Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader for chemistry, and a member of the University Honors program. In addition to this, I currently perform research in Dr. Curtis’s research lab to examine the presence of possible carcinogens in e-cigarettes. Hi, my name is Melissa Casillas. I am LMSA-PLUS publicity officer. I am a senior, acquiring my bachelor's in human services. I am interested in being a physician assistant. When I am not working or doing school, I enjoy spending time with my family, dog, fiancé, and traveling.
Vice President: Faith Hernandez
Hello everyone! My name is Faith Hernandez, and I am your Vice President for LMSA+ this coming school year! Currently, I am a third year pursuing a Public Health major with biology, chemistry, and pre-health professions as my minors. I hope to pursue a career as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Right now, I am a health scholar in the Emergency Room and Case Management at a nearby hospital. I hope to fulfill my dream of providing care to underrepresented communities. When I am away from school and the hospital, I enjoy hiking and going on road trips! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for LMSA+!

Hi everyone! My name is Andrew Torres, and I will be serving as your 2021-2022 Administrative Officer for LMSA-Plus. I am very excited to be a part of the board! I am currently a Health Science major and just finished my fourth year, with one more semester to go. I am currently Pre-PA and strive to become a Physician Associate in the future. Aside from school, I also work at Concentra Urgent Care as a Medical Assistant. In my free time I enjoy going on hikes, going to the beach, going on adventures, eating at new places, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
