RESEARCH AREAS
My research focuses on the structural geology, tectonics, geodynamics, and regional geology of convergent margins. I use geologic mapping, geophysics, geochronology, and petrography to understand
- continental collision
- subduction complex accretion and erosion processes
- the impacts of subduction dynamics on continents and vice versa
- the role of the mantle lithosphere in surface geology
- along-strike variations in all of these.
