Innovation Expo 2025
Event Information
The ECS Student Project Innovation Expo 2025 is an undergraduate student competition within the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The competition provides students with an opportunity to showcase their innovative projects across multiple engineering disciplines. The final round of competition will consist of 60 selected teams along with all corporate-funded projects.
Event Date: Friday, May 2, 2025
Setup Time: 7am - 8am
Expo Judging: 9am - 11am
Public Expo: 11am - 2pm
Awards Ceremony: 12:15pm - 12:45pm
Location: Titan Student Union (TSU)
Preliminary round
Abstract Submission & Review
All teams interested in participating in the Expo must first submit an abstract through the designated online portal during the abstract submission window (Feb 10 – Mar 7, 2025). Departments will then review and select projects for the final round based on established criteria.
- Submission Platform: An online portal will be used for all preliminary abstract submissions.
- Review Process: Department chairs and their respective committees will evaluate submissions based on innovation, feasibility, and technical merit.
- Judging Rubric: The Expo Committee will provide a standardized rubric to assist departments in their evaluation, if needed.
