Accessible Parking

It shall be the policy of California State University, Fullerton to adhere to the following requirements regarding Accessible Parking (AP) parking on campus.

STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES

For long term/permanent disabilities AND temporary/short term disabilities, a DMV AP placard or AP Plates MUST BE DISPLAYED WITH A VALID CSUF PARKING PERMIT.

 

Acessible Parking is available in the following areas on campus with a valid AP placard, tags, or temporary permit:

  • Any Accessible Parking space. If none are available, the following areas are also valid to park in:
  • Faculty/Staff parking lots
  • 30 minute spaces (all day)

 

VISITORS AND OFFICIAL GUESTS

  • Infrequent visitors and official guests of the campus displaying valid DMV/AP plates and placards may park in designated AP spaces, and GREEN spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pay for Disabled Person parking?
Everyone pays for parking on the CSU campus. Depending on your schedule, you may purchase a semester, 2 hour, or day permit. The semester permit, 2 hour permit, or daily permit’s proof of payment must be displayed on your vehicle windshield.

 

How do I get permanent DP parking?
You may visit our office to obtain a DMV form or go to http://dmv.ca.gov/pubs/brochures/fast_facts/ffvr07.htm to complete a form to request for a permanent DP placard. This form must be taken to your physician prior to being filed with the DMV. As with other DMV forms, AAA offices may file this form for members. When using the permanent DP parking placard on campus, you must display your placard on your windshield along with a valid campus parking permit.
