Facilities

The Desert Studies Center offers overnight accommodations, a meeting hall, classrooms, a laboratory, a commercial kitchen, small library, and specimen collections. The DSC is entirely off-grid and supplies its own power and water. In addition to the Field Station Manager, the DSC employs a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, Site Steward, and Cook, all of whom are based on-site at the DSC.
