Title IX and Athletics

Cal State Fullerton is committed to gender equity in its athletics programs. Per Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 to the 1964 Civil Rights Act, "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving federal financial assistance." CSUF adheres to national guidelines from the Federal government and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). 

Filing a Title IX Complaint in Athletics

To report a complaint about gender equity in CSUF athletics programs, contact the Title IX Coordinator, Sarah Bauer, and the Assistant Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator, Sara Perry, who are responsible for Title IX Compliance matters related to gender equity in athletics.
