Representation, Equity and Inclusion Committee
Mission
The goal of the Representation, Equity and Inclusion Committee is to continually investigate all forms of racism and discrimination in the California State University, Fullerton Department of Theatre and Dance for the purpose of creating a more equitable, diverse, inclusive, and just community for all students, faculty, staff, and guests. The committee will review the department’s pedagogical practices, culture, curriculum and performances in order to promote and recommend better practices through a holistic lens.
OBJECTIVES
The REI Committee has created a ten-point action plan in response to both the list of demands presented by TAUSED and the responses to the Spring 2021 student survey. The ten point plan is a living document that remains responsive to the needs of our students.
