How to Access RESET on Canvas

1. Accept your RESET Canvas course invitation

Participate in RESET is mandatory. There are two different ways you can accept the invite:

Option 1

Check your CSUF email for Canvas course invitation and link. 

Option 2

Log into your Canvas account and view the RESET course invitation, then click ACCEPT.

2. Click to Begin

If you are continuing on Academic Notice, you are enrolled in the RESET Refresher course for Continued Notice.

If this is your first time or it's been a little while since you were placed on Academic Notice, you are enrolled in the RESET course for Academic Notice.

3. Complete all modules and knowledge checks

There are four modules and a few knowledge checks along the way. Be sure to view all pages in order. Modules will appear "locked" if viewed out of sequence.

RESET Facts

Fact 1

You are talented and valuable with lots of potential. Everyone needs time to reset every now and then. Finding balance and managing responsibilities is a lifelong task.

Fact 2

For most students, a registration hold is placed on student records and released when academic advising requirements are completed.

Fact 3

Students can access the RESET course all semester long and encouraged to return to the course to revisit any needed information.

Fact 4

Students are enrolled into the RESET course each semester they experience Academic or Continued Notice.
