Senior Director of the Academic Technology Center

Erica Bowers, Ed.D., is the Senior Director of the Academic Technology Center at CSUF. Previously she served as the Director of Faculty Development (2017-2023). Dr. Bowers is a Professor in the Department of Literacy and Reading Education at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). She received her Doctor of Education degree from the University of Southern California in 2006. Dr. Bowers served as the Director of the CSUF Reading Center (2010-2018), where she guided graduate students in their work with striving readers. She has coauthored more than 10 articles focusing on academic English, literacy coaching, literacy assessment and reading motivation. She is a former elementary school teacher and reading specialist.

Gabby Burns

Director, Division of Academic Affairs, CSUF

Gabby Burns is a Director at California State University, Fullerton, overseeing special projects for the Division of Academic Affairs. She works closely with the Provost to enable the success of students and faculty in teaching and learning. Her areas of expertise include project management, improvement analysis, policy development and implementation, recruitment, training, and supervising professional & student staff. Gabby holds an MBA from California State University Polytechnic, Pomona, and a Masters in Information Technology from California State University, Fullerton. In her 16-year career in the public sector, she has spent over 13 years working in higher education.

Network Analyst, CSUF

Rachel Camacho is a Network Analyst for California State University, Fullerton. She has been with the Division of Information Technology since 2019. With an eye for detail and a passion for seamless connectivity, Rachel has been an integral part of the IT team at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). 


Rachel holds a degree in Master's degree in IT Management and continues to stay abreast of the latest advancements in network technology, equipping herself with the knowledge and skills to lead in the ever-evolving world of information technology. Her time at CSUF not only enriched her career but also allowed her to contribute to the advancement of education through technology, a mission that she holds close to her heart. Rachel's pursuit of excellence, combined with her advanced education and hands-on experience, positions her as a dynamic force in the realm of network technology. Her journey is a testament to the power of continuous learning and a testament to the heights one can reach with dedication and expertise.

Annalyn Mai

Information Technology Consultant, CSUF

Annalyn has been working with the Division of Information Technology since 2016 and achieved her academic milestones, graduating in 2018 with a double major in Health Science and Communications Public Relations. Currently, she serves as an IT Consultant Staff at the IT Helpdesk and Student Genius Center. Before transitioning to a staff member at the SGC, she started her IT journey as a student assistant at the TitanCard desk. She works closely with 25+ student assistants and oversees the daily operations at the Student Genius Center. Since her transition into the IT sector, Annalyn has quickly learned the IT operations and was recognized with the IT Employee Recognition Award in the Fall of 2021.

Lead Information Technology Consultant, CSUF

Rakhee Mistry is the Lead for the CSUF IT Helpdesk and Student Genius Center.  She has been with the Division of Information Technology since 2010.  She is a proud alumnus of Cal State Fullerton, having earned both a BA in Business Administration and MS in Information Systems.  Rakhee worked as a student assistant with Information Technology and after graduation, worked in the private sector as a Project Manager/Business Analyst for a pre-paid debit card company for five years before returning to her alma mater. Rakhee has seen the evolution of IT on campus from her student days and over the years when she came on board as staff.

Sahar Nia

Sahar Nia

TitanCard Manager, CSUF

Sahar has been working in Information Technology, at the TitanCard Office, since 2014. She started off her CSUF journey as a student assistant and transitioned over to staff after graduating. She currently oversees the TitanCard Service Desk. Sahar is also a graduate of the Educause New Manager's Institute and is co-chair of the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Belonging committee for Information Technology.
